We’ve all grown accustomed with seeing Miley Cyrus twerking, but the singer goes back to her pop music roots with her latest single “Wrecking Ball”. Visuals to the emotional track have been released and we find the single bear it all.
Lately, we’ve seen Miley with some of the biggest names in rap including Big Sean, Juicy J, and Wiz Khalifa, that we almost forget she’s a pop singer. She’s tried her hands at rapping, twerking, and continues to amaze the public with her sultry new image. In her latest single “Wrecking Ball”, which follows the bizzaro “We Can’t Stop”, we find the singer in a simple backdrop swinging from a wrecking ball in the nude. The sexy and emotional video was directed by famed celebrity photographer Terry Richardson.
“We Can’t Stop” reached 100 million views faster than any video in VEVO history and she’s hoping the next video will follow suite. “How should I get Wrecking Ball to beat WCS record?” tweeted the 20-year-old. “Should I release a track list of #bangerz ???” It’s unsure the route the singer is going musically as the title of her upcoming album is Bangerz. Cyrus admits that she’s not making rap music despite her latest shot on Mike Will’s “23” and remixing French Montana’s “Ain’t Worried About Nothing”. The new album hits stores in October.
